Past Weeks Tip:
|
|
Working on your alignment
|
|
When hitting balls at the range, ALWAYS lay
a club on the ground to check your alignment. Pick a target, setup
to the ball and when you're ready to hit the shot...STOP and place the
club on the ground down your body line (where your feet are aiming).
Remember to place the club as close to your toes as possible. Step back leaving
the club on the ground and see where you were aiming. With the ball
being to the side of you, it is common to aim too far right.
Make it a practice to hit balls WITH the club on the ground to adjust your
mind to the proper alignment. |

Tee Away From Trouble
|
|
"When on the tee box, aim away from trouble. How
is this accomplished? Tee the ball up ON THE
SAME SIDE as trouble. If there is water down
the right fairway, tee up your ball on the right side of
the tee box. You will get the feeling of aiming
away from the water" |
