Recorded a career-best 13 top-10 finishes, including three runner-up finishes: second at the Sports Today CJ Nine Bridges Classic and tied for second at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and Mobile Tournament of Champions Presented by Ultimate Software.

 

Posted top-10 finishes at three of the four LPGA major championships: tied for fifth at the Kraft Nabisco Championship; tied for sixth at the McDonald's LPGA Championship Presented by AIG; and tied for eighth at the Weetabix Women's British Open.

 

Recorded a career-low 62 during the first round of the Mobile LPGA Tournament of Champions Presented by Ultimate Software, where she also crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings.

 

Finished with a 4-0-1 record as a member of the European Solheim Cup Team; her 7-0-1 overall record is one of the best in Solheim Cup history.

 

Expecting her second child in April 2003; plans to return to competition at the U.S. Women's Open in July.

Koch was a member of the 1985-91 Swedish National Amateur teams. She won the 1988 Swedish Girls Championship title and the 1990 European Team Junior Championship. While a member of the University of Tulsa golf team, she was named a two-time second-team All-American in 1989-90.

The U.S. Women's Open became an LPGA major in 1950; the McDonald's LPGA Championship Presented by AIG became a major in 1955; the Kraft Nabisco Championship became a major in 1983; and the Weetabix Women's British Open became a major championship in 2001. From 1979-2000 the LPGA's fourth major was the du Maurier Classic. The Weetabix Women's British Open replaced the du Maurier Classic in 2001. Career Highlights

.
In 2000, was a runner-up at the Los Angeles Women’s Championship; crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings after tying for 14th at the Evian Masters; was a member of the victorious European Solheim Cup Team, where she went 3-0 as a rookie year and sank an eight-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole to win her match against Michele Redman and clinch the European Team’s victory; won the Chrysler Open on the Evian Ladies European Tour, her first professional victory, as well as the Team World Cup with Sophie Gustafson in Ireland.

 

In 1999, best finish was a tie for second at the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic, where she lost in a six-way sudden-death playoff to Se Ri Pak; recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the second round of the du Maurier Classic.

 

In 1998, recorded her career-best finish at the Longs Drugs Challenge, where she finished second.

 

In 1997, best finish was a tie for fifth at the Welch’s Championship.

 

In 1996, recorded a career-low round of 63 during the second round of the First Bank Presents the Edina Realty Classic, where she tied for second after losing to Liselotte Neumann in a sudden-death playoff.

 

In 1995, her rookie season-best finish was a tie for second at the JAL Big Apple Classic.

 

Other best finishes as a professional include: second place at both the 1994 Irish Open and the 1994 Taiwan Open, third place at both the 1993 Swedish Open and the Women’s British Open.

 

In 1994, ranked fourth on the Asian Order of Merit.

 

In 1992 and 1993, ranked 15th on the WPGET Order of Merit.

 

In 1992, turned professional and competed on the Women Professional Golfers’ European Tour (WPGET) and the Asian Tour before qualifying for the LPGA; was the Swedish Match Play champion.
